Why Working Leads is NOT Cold Calling!
Calling leads or working leads is not necessarily cold calling - unless you are buying those ultra cheap penny, email leads!
Why? Well, ask yourself this question… Who Called First?
They did of course, by responding to one of your advertisements or your lead company’s advertisement!
They responded because they are looking for something. They have a need… a problem to solve. They’re looking for HELP.
Also, don’t be fooled into thinking that they’re looking for information.
They’re looking for HELP. There’s a big difference! You wouldn’t refuse to talk with someone who is looking for help would you?
So calling leads is simply calling people BACK.
So if they ASKED… why would you be afraid to call them back? To many of us, when we get started in our network marketing businesses, the phone literally has teeth and can weigh a ton! Especially for those of us that have not been in the corporate lifestyle for awhile.
Our greatest hindrance is ourselves - and the sooner we get out of our own way, the sooner we will become successful work at home moms.
And now that you’re aware they are expecting your call, make sure you give them the courtesy of getting back to them as soon as possible, after you have received their information.
And when you do, remember, let go of trying to make a sale and simply ask questions to find out more about them and to see whether or not you can help them….
What they want?
Why they want it?
How much are they committed to get it?

...many people work leads or are calling leads in their home businesses...
When you hear of someone working leads in their network marketing or mlm business, most of the time they are running some kind of advertisement or working with lead vendors that place ads online, in home business magazines, on tv, etc... When someone responds to those ads, they are considered a 'lead' and quite often their information gets sent directly to us via email.
There are many lead vendors out there - and I caution against using the cheap leads that you can buy for pennies per lead... Look at it as an advertising cost, because, believe me - it costs to advertise in ANY business and home based businesses are no different.
