Working From Home ~ And Loving It!

Many Moms can say " I am working from home and I love it!" and many more wish they could say it!

With so many working from home opportunities available there is absolutely a way for anyone to be a stay at home Mom and still contribute to the family income!

At times, it can be intimidating to try to sort through the loud music and distracting information to get to the nuts and bolts of what we are really looking for, but for those that are determined to find it, it is there, waiting to be found and put to use.

If you have been considering a home based business and can't quite decide if it is worth it, or if you can replace your current income at the office or wherever you may be working... here are some notes you might want to compare..

  • Average work outside the house mom makes $8.00 - $12.50 an hour which is $320 - $500 weekly
  • Daycare costs for child under 2 is $250 a week
  • Gas $30 a week to get to work (at least!)
  • Clothes for work - estimate $20 a week
  • Lunch(fast food), $4 a day average spender- $20 a week

This leaves the work outside the house mom with $100 - $180 (before taxes) a week to help contribute to bills in the house.

  • Average income for Moms working from home...(It varies a lot, depending on what kind of business you have..from $100 - $1000 or more a week)
  • Daycare costs for child under 2 is - $0
  • Gas - $0
  • Clothes for work - $0
  • Lunch - $0 (eat with the kids in the kitchen =)

Not to mention being there for the kids when they get off the bus, being able to travel or vacation when you feel like it without having to ask a boss first...

It's really a no brainer when it comes down to the advantages of moms working from home or not!

Of course, if you have a home business, there will be business related expenses instead of , like, childcare, etc. which can be deducted as tax expenses at the end of the year.

Home based businesses are usually the best working from home opportunities. As with any business, the more you build it,the more effort you put into it, the more money you will make.
