Here are Some Easy Goal Setting Tips...

Here are some goal setting tips which will hopefully help you achieve some easy goals this year..

Have you ever set goals and gave up on them???

Maybe never set goals because you were afraid you couldn't attain them??

To be successful in anything we do, we must set our eye on the goal and never look back!

Write down your goals and reasons and don't ever forget them...

The benefit of setting goal is to help us achieve it.

There will always be those around us that scoff and ridicule...They'll say we can't do it and that it isn't possible.

If we allow ourselves to be drawn away from our goals and listen to those people, we will fail!

One of the best goal setting tips I have found is to surround ourselves with people who are positive...

People who believe in us...that are likeminded...We become like the five people that we hang around with the most...

Determination goes a long way in goal setting and motivation ~ I like to keep a journal with my work at home goals...

Do I always achieve them?

No.

Does that keep me from setting new goals?

Never!

Do I achieve my goals?

Sometimes... and then I set some more easy goals that are attainable and start working towards those!

When I got started working at home, my main goal was to bring my husband home from his 70+ hour a week job.

About six months after I got started, it happened, and then I had to sit down and re-write my goals...!

View this short movie on what I believe to be one of the greatest secrets to achieving our goals!

Steps to Setting Goals...

....I'll share with you some simple steps to setting goals that I have found helpful.

  • Set a few long-term goals -

like , for instance, "I want to be able to quit my job in 6 months...I want to be driving a brand new PT Cruiser-loaded...tinted windows, power everything..."

Whatever your own specific long term goal is....take time to close your eyes and visualise it...smell it...feel it...taste it...if you need to, find pictures and place them on your fridge!

  • Write down all your goals...

Start a goal setting sheet - write down all your long term goals..where you want to be in 6 months, a year, 3 years...

  • Now...look at what you are doing to achieve those goals.

If you have not yet implemented any plans to help you get to your goals, now is a good time to start thinking about finding a way to make your dreams come true!!

  • If you are a work at home mom in home business, then what you need to do now, is simply look at your daily activity..

What are you doing on a daily basis that will eventually help you reach your longterm goal??

  • Are you consistently talking to new people, or exposing new people, every day ,to your opportunity or to your website??...

Remember, the only business activity that will put money into your pocket is exposing your business or products to others, and you need to be doing that on a consistent basis...

  • For some simple work at home goals, just determine what activity you have to do every day to help you get to your ultimate goal.

And then do it - every day!

You would be surprised how many people get started in home based businesses, work really hard for a few months and then just as their hard is starting to pay off, they give up...

  • Time management is a huge thing for stay at home moms like me...

It is so easy to get wrapped up in family and the daily cares of life and let our home business just slack off.

Look at your schedule and prioritize your life - you will be amazed at how time it will free up for you start achieving those goals!
